Clinical Supervision for Licensure Candidates

Support, mentorship, and advocacy on your path to the LCSW or LPC.

Welcome to a space rooted in authenticity, connection, and liberation. I offer clinical supervision to social workers (LSW) and counselors (LPCC) who want to align their professional growth with their values while navigating the rigorous path to licensure.

If you are an LSW or candidate on the path to obtaining your clinical license, finding a supervisor with whom you feel aligned can make all the difference. I offer supervision that not only meets your state requirements but creates a space for reflection, growth, and alignment with your core values.

If you are already fully licensed and seeking peer support, please visit my Clinical Consultation page.

Who is Summit Therapy’s Clinical Supervision For?

My clinical supervision services are designed for pre-licensed professionals who are looking for more than just a signature on a form. You are likely a good fit if:

  • You are navigating agency burnout. You are working in community mental health or high-volume settings and need a safe space to process systemic issues without fear of judgment.

  • You want to specialize in queer health. You are seeking specific mentorship on providing therapy for LGBTQ populations and want to move beyond basic competency to true affirmation.

  • You value anti-oppressive practice. You want a supervisor who acknowledges power dynamics, privilege, and the intersectionality of identity in the therapy room.

You need regulatory guidance. You want the peace of mind that comes from working with a supervisor who deeply understands the Colorado state statutes and board rules regarding your hours.

Our Clinical Supervision Offerings

I offer two distinct formats for supervision, allowing you to customize your learning environment and manage your budget while accurately accruing your required hours.

Individual Licensure Supervision

Individual clinical supervision is a collaborative space to deepen your clinical skills, address challenges, and build a practice that feels authentic to who you are. We move beyond simple case management to explore your clinical voice and professional identity.

  • Deep Dives: Ample time to unpack complex cases and ethical dilemmas.

  • Skill Building: Support in developing aligned modalities and interventions.

  • Countertransference: Safe space to process your own emotional responses to clients.

  • Logistics: Direct support with tracking hours for licensure.

Group Supervision for Licensure

Bi-weekly Fridays at 10:00 am MT online

Community, shared wisdom, and cost-effective hours.

In addition to individual work, I offer Group Supervision cohorts. This is an excellent way to accumulate licensure hours while learning from the diverse caseloads and questions of your colleagues. Starts at $30.

  • Peer Learning: Hear how other clinicians handle complex ethical dilemmas and clinical presentations with participant-guided discussions (each group includes space for topics members want to dive into)

  • Space to engage with current events and shifts that impact our work, our clients, and us as providers (e.g., political changes, insurance updates, AI in mental health, and more)

  • Skill-building and Shared Learning: documentation support, modality sharing, and discussion of clinical interventions

  • Community Connection: An affirming, open space for queer and trans providers

  • Cost-Effective: A more affordable rate per hour compared to individual sessions.

(Please inquire via the contact form for current group schedules).

Why Value-Aligned Clinical Supervision Matters

After many experiences with being clinically supervised and clinically supervising, I deeply believe it is vital to be supported in understanding the nuanced intersections of personal identity and professional practice.

Having a clinical supervisor with whom you feel clinically and personally aligned can support you in feeling both confident and competent. If you’re working with folks who hold marginalized identities or system-impacted communities, it’s deeply valuable to have a supervisor who understands those dynamics from lived and professional experience. A supportive, trusting supervisory relationship creates the safety needed for openness, reflection, and growth so learning happens in a way that strengthens both your practice and the care you provide to clients.
